Down on the farm


We are a traditional 300 acre livestock farm, breeding and rearing our own cattle and sheep. We supply our own butchers’ shops and restaurant chains.


Annually wee calve 60 continental suckler cows,and lamb 350 North of England Mule Ewes giving us around 600 lambs 


The farm is all pasture, therefore our livestock are fed fresh grass while in the fields over spring and summer and baled silage when they are housed over winter. 


All aspects of the business fall under the umbrella of ELF and are managed by Robert and Thomas and the fantastic team of staff they employ.
